What the sources sayस्रोत क्या कहते हैं

Wikipedia's Śrauta article lists agnicayana among the more extensive rites a practitioner becomes eligible for after the agniṣṭoma. Huffman & Thuong (2015) describes a bird-shaped altar of 1005 bricks built over 12 days; Wikipedia's Vedi article cites excavated falcon-shaped uttaravedi at Purola and Kosambi. Sundareswaran gives the standard falcon altar (Śyenaciti) an area of 7½ square puruṣas. The ten optional altar forms are on their own pages.
