What the sources sayस्रोत क्या कहते हैं

Wikipedia's Śrauta article states that Rājasūya is no longer practised. The Rajasuya article gives the overview and its textual references. We summarise only at that level: it is a royal rite associated with a king's consecration and claim of sovereignty. The performances narrated in epic literature are literary accounts, not records of what a ritual manual prescribes.
